Ceremony Packages

I'm happy to suggest a variety of wedding ceremony packages that can be customized to reflect your individual personalities as well as your budget. Each of the ceremonies is carefully designed to create beautiful lasting memories for you and your guests; in every instance you make the choice between a civil and a religious ceremony.

A standard ceremony is always available. However, many brides enjoy creating their own unique service. Remember, the ceremony is about the Bride and Groom, not the wedding minister.

I very strongly believe that marriage ceremonies should contain no surprises. You should know what the officiant is going to say. Even those who elope should know what's going to be said ahead of time. To receive a copy of my three standard services simply request a copy of my FREE e-book, “Ideas From A Wedding Minister.” You’ll find the form on the home page.

Whether you wish to include your children in wedding plans or your mothers I'm able to work with you so that all family members feel a part of the ceremony.

Except for the elopement package, a get acquainted meeting to discuss your plans and preferences is scheduled.

I've performed weddings on the beach, in hotels, banquet halls, parks, and restaurants (including Chucke Cheese), chapels -and of course, church. We are entering a new age of wedding locations - more and more brides and grooms are choosing to be married at locations that would have surprised our grandmothers and grandfathers.

Unlimited email and telephone consultation is included in all packages. And whichever you choose of these packages, I'll mail to you a form to fill out and return to me. The purpose of that form is simply to help me know you a little better. That way I can help you feel relaxed and comfortable on your special day. Of course, we'll also talk face to face. At least one meeting, in addition to our getting acquainted meeting, is included in each of the packages-except for the elopement package.

Elopement Package
I put this package together for the sake of those
with a South Carolina Wedding License who want something more than what might be had at the local courthouse. We have no face to face meetings for this package. However, we allow for unlimited email and phone calls. The ceremonies are intended for those having only a couple witnesses or possibly just parents. We meet at my home in Lake Wylie. Weather permitting, we’ll walk down to the lake. Yours may be a non-denominational, civil, or spiritual marriage ceremony. A standard script is used but minor changes may be made. I do not have a set fee for the elopement package. The groom should plan to provide an honorarium he feels is appropriate.

Garden Package
The garden package is the same as the elopement package with three distinct differences. First, we meet face to face to make certain that all our plans are properly in place. (Should you decide not to pursue our working together at the end of this meeting there will be no charge.) Secondly, it can be scheduled for any time or place. And, of course, there is no limitation on the number of guests.

Wedding Magic Package
Like the garden package, this package may be held anywhere. It includes everything in the Garden Package and I'll also be available to help direct your rehearsal.

The Traditional Package
The traditional package provides that little bit extra which many brides look for. It includes my attendance at the rehearsal dinner and/or reception and the offering of prayers at those events if desired.

Fees
The only package where there are no fees is the elopement package. The other packages vary depending on location and the exact details involved. However, a couple should anticipate an honorarium ranging from $150 to $450. The exact fee schedule can be given in our early discussions either by email or over the telephone.

To reserve your date you need to put fifty percent of the total price down, as a non-refundable deposit. The remainder is due before the ceremony takes place.
